Treasured Films are proud to present their debut 3-Disc Blu-ray boxset featuring Ward's three feature films, but also his many shorts with each disc loaded with extras in this much-treasured limited edition!

The complete works of independent action and crime director Darren Ward!

The break-neck bloody action and crime films of British independent director Darren Ward in an exhaustive collection beginning with his early shorts, to his debut feature SUDDEN FURY (1998) - described by Mondo Digital as "an astonishing frenzy of gangster gore that's still one of the most gruesome British projects ever filmed." From 2004 his serial killer short NIGHTMARES paves the way for his next feature A DAY OF VIOLENCE (2009) described by critic MJ Simpson as "a film about deeply unpleasant people doing extremely violent things to other deeply unpleasant people." Rounding off his "FURY" trilogy is his most ambitious feature, BEYOND FURY (2019) described by Starburst as "a love letter to the Italian exploitation films of the seventies and eighties...this brash, gory, revenge flick manages to rise above its humble origins."

DISC 1: SUDDEN FURY (1997)

Randall is a small time crime boss with his eye firmly on his rival's cocaine stash and criminal empire. Randall and his right-hand henchman Jimmy hire legendary hit man Walker, to take out his nemesis Harris. With Harris out of the way, Randall plans to take over sole distribution of the cocaine trade for the south coast of England. It soon becomes apparent to Walker that Randall never intended to pay for his work and his plan of domination soon becomes compromised. Randall pulls out the stops to have Walker killed, but Walker doesn't go down easy...

Featuring screen legend David Warbeck (The Last Hunter, The Beyond) in one of his final roles, this SOV bullet ballet lashes on the squibs, bloodshed and pyrotechnics with some insanely impressive action set pieces which would soon become a Ward standard.

This disc not only collects extensive extra features surrounding Sudden Fury, but also showcases Ward's early shorts Paura Il Diavolo (1992), Blue Fear (1993) and the dry-run for Sudden Fury  - Bitter Vengeance (1994) - a real treat for fans of golden-era shot-on-video grue!

DISC 2: A DAY OF VIOLENCE (2010)

Mitchell Parker lies dead on a morgue slab. In life, he served the low ranks of debt collectors, surrounded by the filth and scum that the streets had to offer. On a routine collection he stumbles across £100,000 in cash, hidden in the sofa of one of his clients. A dark and haunting past hangs over the head of Parker, one that will lead him on a journey of redemption and ultimately sacrifice. Hunted by the gang whose money he has stolen, he must evade capture and use the money to rid himself of his demons once and for all.

Featuring infamous Italian horror icon Giovanni Lombardo Radice (Cannibal Ferox, House at the Edge of the Park), A Day of Violence is undoubtedly one of the most uncompromising and gritty crime splatter epics to emerge from the UK!
